Summer Summer Summertiiiiiiiiiiime. Happy first week of summer, friends! Ok now normally I look forward to dedicating an entire week to talking about the summer holiday I love with my whole heart, 4th of July, and share all of the Independence Day-inspired style and home decor finds I’m excited about that year, but since the 4th of July festivities might look a little bit different this year for a lot of us due to the COVID, I thought I’d adjust my approach. Though I’ll still be celebrating with max enthusiasm and patriotic flair this year even if the activities are different, most of the folks I know, my fam included, are scaling it back a little bit this year and focusing on smaller celebrations with friends and fam or socially distanced backyard/poolside/lakeside/beachside hangouts that don’t involve packed parades, picnics, pool parties and the like. So in light of that I thought I’d round up tons of my favorite Independence Day-inspired decor finds from around the web that I’m loving this year that are all perfect for simply adding some festive flair to your own abode, or for decorating for a small celebration and entertaining nearest and dearest.

Sure the celebrations may not be as big this year, but honestly there are so many summer-perfect pieces included that would just be plain old awesome additions to your decor arsenal this summer, or collected and used for Memorial Day and Independence Day celebrations for years to come! I’m particularly loving the entire Pique-Nique line from Sur La Table which is the most adorable, cottage-perfect, red, white and blue (and cherry) clad line full of so many fun entertaining pieces for any Independence Day or summer celebration! But there’s so much more to love shown and linked below, including tons of other fun melamine pieces, which are my favorite kind of dinnerware and serving pieces for casual, backyard summer dining or snacking simply because they’re so darn durable! And kind of nostalgic, too. Which I love.
