A last minute holiday post for one genius, super easy last minute gift! You guys seemed to love the DIY mulled wine gift basket idea when I shared it on Instagram last week, but I didn’t share the detailed instructions about what’s in it or the gift tag I created to include in the basket so our gift recipients could whip up some tasty mulled wine at home, so I thought I’d share all of that here. If you’re like me, you’ve come to the moment in your holiday gift giving where you’ve checked all of the major players off of your gift list, but still have some friends, neighbors or co-workers that you’d love to gift something special to this season and are left searching for easy, thoughtful, relatively affordable last minute gift ideas. If that sounds like you, this DIY mulled wine gift basket is the perfect answer, and is such a fun, festive way to spread some cheer!
Below are all of the instructions you’ll need to make this on your own, including a list of supplies that you can grab at your local grocery store, our favorite mulled wine recipe that tastes as good as it smells and a printable gift tag that you can sign and include when you gift. Happy holidays, friends!

Simmer gently over low heat for 15 minutes. Remove spice pouch, orange slices and cinnamon sticks from mixture. Garnish with cinnamon stick and serve warm.
DIY Mulled Wine Gift Basket Gift Tag
For this gift tag I used 2.5″ x 5.1″ tags that I grabbed at Michael’s. I knew I’d need a slightly longer tag in order to fit the instructions on there. Then I designed this gift tag to fit those dimensions, printed it and simply adhered it to the tag with some double sided tape. You can just sign your name next to the heart at the bottom and you’re good to go!
To Download: Click the image below and a PDF of this file will open. Save that PDF to your computer, and print. Make sure to maintain the original dimensions when you print so it fits the size gift tag mentioned above (when you print preview, the gift tag image should look small compared to the rest of the page).
