Our Honest Fanimation Spitfire Review
A couple of years ago when I was sweating it out in postpartum July hell here in Arizona, I went down the ceiling fan rabbit hole, searching for a super quiet, functional fan for our bedroom that looked as good as it moved. After a completely disturbing amount of fan research, I finally feel like I found ceiling fan bliss. And because I know that tons of you may find yourself in the same boat at some point in your homeownership journey, I’m here to share that bliss.

The Best Indoor Ceiling Fan?
The Spitfire is a perfect blend of function and design. It comes in tons of different finishes and motor/blade combinations that you can mix and match, including driftwood like we have, matte greige, dark bronze, brass, black, white, nickel and more so you can choose the perfect combo to complement a room’s aesthetic. We love options, friends! Its streamlined design and elevated finish options are definitely what takes this fan from a functional powerhouse to a standout stunner in the ceiling fan market. Yes, as mentioned, it has a slightly higher price tag than your average, boring old builder grade ceiling fan, and I don’t splurge on a lot of home decor buys, but after having one I’m convinced that the investment was 100% worth it.

The Best Quiet Ceiling Fan?
Like I said, though the Spitfire fan doesn’t just look good. It’s also incredibly functional. Its three-blade design allows for optimal air circulation, keeping your home cool and comfortable, while also being the most quiet ceiling fan I’ve ever encountered. Honestly, how quiet it is when it’s running has been one of the reasons I love it so much. We’re talking silent, friends. Silent! Plus, its energy-efficient motor ensures that you won’t see a spike in your energy bill. It also comes standard with a remote control and wall harness for said remote so you can adjust the fan speed and dim or turn the light on and off from a distance – i.e. your bed.

The Best Ceiling Fan for a Small Bedroom?
One of the best things about the Spitfire is its versatility. It can be used in a variety of settings, from a modern living room to coastal-inspired bedroom AND guess what? It’s damp location rated for covered outdoor areas so you can enjoy it year-round. What’s even cooler is that it also comes in different sizes, so whether you have a small bedroom or a larger space, there’s a Spitfire fan that will work for you. We use the smaller 48” fans in all of our slightly small bedrooms, and they’re still so powerful without overwhelming the space. The Spitfires with lights also come with two different styles of “lenses” or light covers, which allow for varying degrees of brightness (in addition to being dimmable), so you can choose which fits your needs, and switch it up down the line if those needs change.
But don’t just take our word for it, guys! These fans have tons of glowing reviews from homeowners and interior designers alike on pretty much every site that sells them. They rave about its unique design, quiet operation, and effectiveness in circulating air. The consensus seems to be that anyone who’s invested in one, loves it just as much as we do!
