We’re SO excited to share the second half of our desert engagement photo session with our amazing photographer, Ashley Slater. If you missed the super fun, Route 66-inspired first half of our engagement photos, you can check those out here! So many of you sent us notes about how much you enjoyed the first set of pics, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the love and kindness you’ve sent our way – we feel so lucky to have such amazing people in our lives, sharing our journey!

For the second half of our photos we got a little bit more romantic, got out of the gale force winds up on the plateau where we shot the first set of our pics, and snuggled up… a.k.a., there was a lot more smoochin’ going on in these pics, which we absolutely love because hey, smoochin’ is one of our favorite things to do!

There’s so much love in these photos, and just like in the first set of pics, we just love how Ashley’s film snaps captured the delicate details of us and this special, unforgettable moment in our lives.

Lately, we’ve found ourselves stopping in our tracks and turning to each other in astonishment that we really found each other and get to spend the rest of our lives together. It’s an almost incomprehensible idea isn’t it… the idea that you somehow find, in this great big huge world, the most perfect match for you, your soulmate, the one person whose heart feels like it was created to fit together perfectly with your heart, and then after all of that, the universe actually allows you to spend the rest of your life loving that person. It’s a pretty incredible gift, and one that neither of us will ever take for granted.
