Better late than never, right? Ok ok so I know it’s December 10th and that means that there are only 15 days until Christmas, but 15 days of festive on your phone is still plenty of time to put a holiday smile on your face, right? Especially in this dumpster fire of a year that is 2020… any amount of joy is welcome, ya know? When the lovely Rhian Awni completely surprised and delighted me this fall by telling me she created several new, beautiful sets of holiday-inspired watercolor illustrations and once again so graciously allowed me to have all the fun by turning those illustrations into new holiday and winter phone wallpapers for you guys to enjoy, it felt like the year was finally looking up! Your love for the wallpapers we’ve created with Rhian over the years has been nothing short of incredible, and it fills both of our hearts with so much happiness to see you love and share these year after year. From the bottom of our hearts, we can’t thank you enough for your endless support for what was originally a fun little experiment for you guys here on the blog. Our seasonal wallpaper collaborations have blossomed into a really fun, joy-filled and rewarding creative endeavor that just feels really representative of the spirit of this little blog of ours. Huge hugs!

As you guys know, the holiday and winter wallpapers are kind of our favorite season to create… just don’t tell the other seasons. They just get us in the holiday mood, and this year’s holiday and winter wallpaper designs are certainly no exception! Rhian spoke straight to my heart with her citrus-inspired Christmas watercolor set (after all, winter citrus is an Arcadia staple!) and her pastel North Pole dreamscape, and I was beyond excited to take my favorite elements from both and whip up some really fun winter wonderland designs with all the winter and holiday hits included. We’ve got garland (lots and lots of garland, actually – you guys always seem to love a good garland!), ornaments, pine boughs, bows, Christmas trees, cozy mugs and presents galore!

Since Spring 2020, we’ve been including phone wallpapers, desktop backgrounds and Zoom backgrounds in these wallpaper sets, but I have to be honest with you guys, my energy has been so low this season, so the fact that the phone wallpapers actually got finished and put here on the blog was a huge win for me. A tiny triumph to be cherished in this year 2020. I promise I’ll be back to doing all three next season, but for this particular holiday/winter season, I hope the phone wallpapers serve you well and spread enough joy to fill you up!
