I always say that spring cottage decor is my favorite, but I feel like summer is a close second to that or may even have an equal share of my cottage style loving heart, mostly because it’s all just so fresh, fun and happy with the juiciest, peppiest, prettiest color palettes and patterns and beachy, woven textures that scream sand between your toes! With tons of extra time to formulate elaborate summer decor dreams in my mind and peruse the interweb’s slowly emerging summer decor offerings with reckless abandon, I’ve found so many summer-perfect cottage style decor treasures to love out there right now! In fact, I’ve found so many summer-ready decor delights that I decided that it would be really fun (and hopefully more helpful) to break my findings up into three different posts, focusing on three different summer decor categories that in my humble opinion, have a lot to do with what makes this season so special on the home front!

For the first of said cottage summer decor posts today I’m sharing all of my favorite summer decor finds for inside the house because making little swaps and updates inside the house is always my jam when the seasons change. Then in the coming days I’ll also be sharing all of my favorite cottage-inspired outdoor summer decor and my favorite entertaining pieces for summer because though our gatherings may be small (like party of one + a dog small) this summer, they’ll still be mighty! And perfectly appointed. Because a summer BBQ for one is still awesome in my eyes. Extra guac for me!

I know that for most of us, those summer scenes we daydream about during the winter months may look a little bit different this year, but I’ve found so much comfort in really diving in and making my house a respite from the storm over thew last couple of months, even it it doesn’t involve spending any money or buying something new. So even if you’re just window shopping right now, I hope this inspires your own happy summer decor dreams or just injects a little summer sunshine into your day!
