When day-to-day life gets busy, chaotic, exhausting, overwhelming and even a little bit crazy, as it tends to do every now and then in the age we live in, sometimes you just need a good old-fashioned impromptu date night with the person you love to sit next to each other, unplug, dive in deep and reconnect. Life is messy, that much we know, but there’s nothing that grounds me more and reminds me just how good I really have it than indulging in one of my favorite pastimes… spending uninterrupted, quality time with Chris. This week, on an awesomly unplanned Monday night we had one such occasion, and we picked a special spot for us and a place with so much history in Phoenix, The Biltmore hotel. The Biltmore is such a tranquil resort, with endless perfectly-manicured flora across the sprawling grounds and so much architectural beauty (thanks to the influence and oversight of Frank Lloyd Wright), so for a night spent outside of our little corner of the city, there’s no better place to sip a classic cocktail and take in one of the best views in Phoenix! So here’s to sprucin’ up, slowing it down, and saying “I love you.”
